Sometimes you just get lucky. We were lucky to work with the owner of this 1905 Edwardian home to make a fresh, modern statement about color and texture. Bold shapes, classic white and black formality mixed with rich colors.
We opened up the floor plan to circulate around the Dining Room fireplace, added a Butler’s pantry, bar, and hidden powder room. The kitchen was re-envisioned and we brought the back yard into the house with new glass units. One of the challenges was to introduce minimal detailing into the traditional architecture. Yes it’s a blend, yes it’s eclectic, but it’s oh so sweet.
